Some of you may know my nephew is a member of the illustration team that created this great new videogame, I assure you…I am completely unbiased…Ahem. But I’ve got it from the horses mouth (sorry Chris) that the Modern Warfare 3 edition of Call of Duty is the hands down best version of an all-time great line of games, and should be on every Christmas Shopping list this year!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 version is due for release on November 8th, and continues the wildly popular Call of Duty series that has garnered more than its share of Game of the year awards. If you have any game players in your family, this is the one they’ll be hoping to see in their Xmas stocking this year.

Modern Warfare 3 is a global action game in which players fight pitched battles in London, Paris and New York, either in single or multi-player mode. The storyline starts with an attempted invasion of the U.S. by Russian forces in downtown New York City. Gamers can choose sides and individual characters, and can control all kinds of war vehicles, new and old, and tons of new weapons and hardware. This is one of those games where you let your kid (husband, granny, babysitter) plug in today and check back next week to see what part of the world they’re fighting in.

The maps are new, as are game types and missions, while retaining certain of the more popular older multiplayer modes.

Leaked details about the graphics, story line, features, etc., have brought interest in Modern Warfare 3 to a fever pitch.
